DIY Movement: an evolved means of living

Our educational system, in its entirety, does nothing to give us any kind of material competence. In other words, it does not teach us the absolutely fundamental things of life
The DIY movement is a re-introduction of the old pattern of use of personal skills for the upkeep of the house, cars, computers or any material aspect of living. DIY movement gained momentum in the 1970’s with various magazines offering readers current practical skills and techniques to perform household improvements. Beyond magazines and television, the scope of DIY continues to grow on the internet with various sites offering basic DIY tools for daily activities.
The DIY movement allows us to carry out the various basic activities with the help of the required tools. After all, why need professional aid when you can do it yourself!
