Do It Yourself or DIY is an upcoming trend in which a person is encouraged to do his own minor construction/maintenance work himself. All he requires is a set of tools and some enthusiasm.
Benefits are that the person gets some activity and gains some knowledge about the construction work. So in future if he has to do it again. He will know what he is doing.
It also saves on cost as these works are frightfully expensive if specialized help is employed. For some it stings, for some it is out of reach. The rich however don’t fall under this category. You won’t be seeing Bill Gates climbing to his roof to fix the chimney.
So if you aren’t super rich and are looking to do something yourself then remember the DIY policy.
